Regarding MapleLegends version
First I want to thank you all for the patience regarding our .wz updates. We are still working hard with it and hopefully we'll have it out at some point. In near future we have additional people helping us and hopefully this speed progress a bit up. We all have full time jobs and unfortunately we cannot just skip these.
Now to main topic of this news post.
Will MapleLegends ever change their version (ex: v0.83)?
We're getting this question a lot lately , so we'll make it very simple: No. Some servers stay v0.55 forever, we will stay v0.62. To us v0.62 is the version that MapleStory peaked at before they started make changes that either make the game easier or make the game more automatic while also removing a lot of "nostalgic" features. However, its also due to us believing some key nostalgic features has been removed at later versions of the game, which we rather keep.
But we will have some post v0.62 content right (ex: maps, nx)?
Correct, we already do up to v0.83 cash equips. We are still working on the ToT update and the Magatia update and these will be the first post v0.62 maps added. After that we think what to do for future, but it will of course be heavily discussed with the community. More Cash items will be added too of course. Once again I am thanking you for the patience regarding this update, its a huge update with months long work on overall .wz edits

MapleLegends and Windows 10
We had some concerned users regarding Windows 10 and if they should upgrade. Windows 10 works pretty much same as Windows 8/8.1 regarding compatibility, and today we got confirms that our fix that is implemented on our client still works on Windows 10, so like Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 our client should work 100% with the said Operating Systems.
While soon we give an official approval by doing an own test, we are pretty sure that you should still be able to play MapleLegends after the upgrade.

Regarding Server Checks
Hello Maplers,
Seeing how our recent server upgrade has been quite successful in reducing player lag and substantially increasing our server uptime, we would like to announce a new change to our server updates. Rather than continuing to perform unscheduled restarts whenever the server performance becomes too unplayable, our new upgrade gives us the freedom to plan server updates far in advance without too much concern for a poor gameplay experience as a result of lag.
Thus, we will now attempt to give many days of advanced notice before any future server maintenance sessions, so everybody knows when an update/restart is coming. We will also most likely begin performing weekly server checks to patch minor bugs and ensure that everything still runs smoothly.
We know that most players have not been big fans of the unscheduled restarts of the past, so we hope that this change will be for the better and improves your MapleLegends' experience .
