[COMPLETE] The maintenance is complete as of 8:34 PM EST/12:32 AM GMT on Tuesday, October 13, 2015.
Hello Maplers,
We will be performing a scheduled maintenance on Saturday, October 10, 2015. There is currently no timetable for how long this maintenance will last. Upon completion, the game will be brought back online and service will be restored. Thank you for your patience and continuous support.

3:00 PM GMT/UTC
What will be unavailable:
- All MapleLegends game servers and channels
Changes and Updates:
- Implementation of the MapleLegends Leap Update
Miscellaneous Notes:
- All players who have triggered blatant or significant account sharing warnings since April 1 will retroactively have their shared accounts banned for 14 days, beginning on the first date after the end of the maintenance period. Any future re-offense for players with previous account sharing offenses will result in an indefinite account ban.
- All players who have triggered a significant number of vote abuse warnings since June 18 will retroactively have their abusing accounts banned for a length dependent upon the number of past offenses.
- Any players who have triggered significant warnings in both account sharing and vote abuse will have their ban duration equal to the sum of the durations for the two bans.
- The Leap Update Patch Notes will be released towards the end of the maintenance period, with highlights and detailed descriptions for all of the new content.

New Intern: Slime

Hello!
Slime was asked previously to help us with graphical changes in-game after we saw his talent in icon creation for the rankings.
He gladly accepted and substantially helped us with GMS-like OCD fixes and other graphical fixes. While the community may be unaware of this, he's helping behind the scene with more graphical changes for the next .wz update, which you will all appreciate.
Slime's original application, however, was to become an Intern Moderator. His dedication and contributions have compelled us to make his wish come true.
Slime is now an Intern Moderator and will also help out with issues in game. He will still work here and there with graphical related things and remain a Graphics Designer as well.
The MapleLegends Staff wishes Slime good luck and we are confident he'll do great.
He will be known as SlimePolice in game.

New Intern: Latte and a Promotion!

Hello,
After months of looking into applications we finally added one more person to the team. Latte shot out just a bit more then everyone else and is now an Intern Game Moderator. We wish him the best of luck and we hope he will be a great addition. He will be known as Chai in-game.
Speaking of great additions. Catalyst has been recently promoted to a full Game Moderator. He's doing excellent job behind scene, communicate well with our team, and clearly shows the dedication he has for the server. You deserved it! Keep up the great work.
We are always looking for more spots. If you think you have what it takes to be a Game Moderator or anything else for MapleLegends, you are free to apply at the forums!

Hello everyone,
We have added the Islander ranking for the few islanders out there.
An islander is a person that stays on Maple Island after reaching level 10 and don't take the boat to Lith Harbor.
