Hello Maplers,

I'd like to begin by wishing everybody a happy new year. I hope that all of you guys had a great 2014 and have an even better 2015.

I want to, again, welcome everybody who recently joined our forum. I cannot believe the amount of interest and support that we have received from all of the players interested in trying out our server. It's great to hear, and we, as a staff, are also very excited to launch the server for everyone to try out. We are doing our very best to make this happen as soon as possible.

Right now, we are making some final changes and updates, so we should have an open beta available to the public in the very near future. I would expect it to be sometime in mid-late January. We hope that you guys will like it as much we had fun developing it.

Some information about the Open Beta:

The open beta will be a wiped beta. Essentially, it's our last testing phase to make sure that any critical bugs and exploits are ironed out so that you, as the player, have the most stable gameplay experience possible. It's important to us that you can have fun playing MapleStory while also not running into bugs every few minutes. The length of the open beta will depend on the amount of reported bugs and issues.

Additionally, our open beta will also have a higher EXP rate (most likely around 20x EXP) for easier testing purposes; however, meso and drop rates will not be modified during the beta so that we can receive feedback about that too. You'll also receive a free Omok and Match Cards set upon creating your character so you can test those mini-games to see how well they play for you. On the official release, you will be able to create them at the mini-game exchange NPCs like in the original game.

Lastly, I want to thank our closed beta testers for all of their amazing bug reports and feedback. Thanks to them, we were able to fix a lot of bugs that we were not aware of.
